  1. I'm so happy to hear that Orbx is on board with MSFS2020. Orbx is a leader in their field and their contributions to Microsoft will be invaluable.
  2. Personally Nick has helped me with a number of issues with my Prepared 3D. If an answer wasn't found he at least steered me in the right direction. He certainly deserves recognition for his dedication and hard work.
  3. I saw this article today. It is at Savannah Airport. The two graves are on the edge of Runway 10. Family members are allowed to visit the grave site but can't leave flowers. https://www.insider.com/savannah-airport-runway-graves-cemetery-2019-10?utm_content=buffer75822&utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=buffer-travel&fbclid=IwAR2TYBUuSyYCrPYjDU6_nCrckB8lOkwQ3z1Owkrg2Z20NXNc8KtyAz6-Nt8
  4. I have a different opinion. I don't really see that happening with 'in-game' purchases with the planes MS wants to make this foremost as a PC platform. I certainly don't see third party, ie PMDG having 'in-game' purchases. I would find that a huge turn-off. I'm also opposed to a subscription, unless it is very reasonable. I hate another monthly bill. If FS 2020 meets and exceeds the flight sim community's expectations and they make the big switch then I see Lockheed and other platforms taking a really big hit.
  5. After listening to the interview I can almost guarantee that PMDG and other third party planes will be made available for Flight Sim 2020. It may not happen right away however. I think you will have Microsoft's own aircraft and then third party aircraft, PMDG, Quality Wings, etc. Also, FS 2020 will also work on lower end systems. They even mentioned testing this on 1080 HD and said it was very impressive. They really emphasized making this work for lower end PC's, although it is always best to have a higher end PC.
  6. This YouTube goes into further analysis of the upcoming Microsoft Flight Simulator. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYmfGMQ2a5I
  7. This i s truly incredible if MS can pull this off as shown in their promo video. I do hope it is true but raises some questions. 1. How taxing will this be on our computer and what will be the hard drive/memory requirements? 2. Will third party add-ons in addition to aircraft be allowed to work with the new MS flightsim or will everything be controlled by MS's own ecosystem? 3. How much control will we have over the MS flightsim or will this be more like entertainment software rather than a true flying experience? It is still way too early to know if thi
  8. Hi Carlos. I got it. It works now. Over on the P3D Forum they suggested a link to troubleshoot with add-ons, and they had this step: Remove your generated files. Delete the files in these locations, Copy the TEXT below and paste them into the windows search bar Delete the following generated folders/files. This will result in any add-ons being removed/disabled. %PROGRAMDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 %LOCALAPPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4 I had uninstalled and reinstalled P3D V4 and Orbx before, but I failed to
  9. Hi Carlos, I just want to start all over again from scratch, with a clean slate, and see if that fixes the problem with Meigs Airport. Uninstall everything and then reinstall, even my P3D V4.
  10. Thank you Carlos and Nick. I tried your recent suggestion but without success. KCGX still does not show up. I'm now in the process of removing all of Orbx. However, when I try to uninstall Libraries it will not allow me to in FTX Central. Uninstall is grayed out. How can I uninstall Libraries?
  11. One thing I noticed is that I never installed YCDR Caloundra Airport in Australia. It is also not a default airport, not on the ICAO ID list. So I just tried installing that one through FTX to see if I would have the same issue and I DID. Even through it shows installed on the Scenery Library in P3D it still will not show up on the ICAO ID list. So, this appears to be a problem with Orbx installation of the addon airports not on the ICAO ID default list not being recognized by P3D V4 .
  12. Oh well. I guess I will just have to uninstall everything, all of my Orbx products and start over. I can no longer purchase anymore Orbx products unfortunately until this gets resolved.
  13. I just noticed something in my FTX_VECTOR_APT Scenery folder. It is missing KCGX. bgl file. Could this be the cause?
  14. Okay, that's clear now Nick. So it appears that Orbx KCGX add-on just isn't being recognized by P3D V4 for some reason and not added to the ICAO list. Do airport add-ons have to be installed in a certain order in relation to Libraries, Base, Global Vector, etc?
