  1. I've posted before but the thread stopped getting responded to. I'm revisiting with some new information I gathered from an add-on organizer. The first screenshot shows the continued issue I've only had with v5 with the half missing runway markings. Then two screenshots showing the "problem areas" in violet that the add-on organizer identified. This might indicate the cause but I can't figure the solution even if it is. Thanks, Dave
  2. So revisiting this problem, It's got to be a layering problem. Something with default runway markings layer incorrectly, my Orbx insertion points seem to be correct but something else is wrong. We never talked about the "add-on" tab in prepar3d's settings. Could this be a cause? Thanks
  3. So I've done a lot of troubleshooting. I even was on the Envtex forums thinking that could be it but I now have Envtex removed and I still have the problem with the missing runway markings (unless there's some residual effects even with that product removed) I double checked my Orbx Central and verified some files just to be sure. I don't know what it could be as I have an identical copy basically with prepar3d v4 and it doesn't have this problem and never did.
  4. Sorry, I have a lot in my library but this is the easiest way to show the order of my Orbx products
  5. Hello Nick, So I use Orbx Central for both prepar3d v4 +v5, the insertion point is C:\Users\Owner\Orbx Library\p3dv5 for all the different Orbx products Thanks
  6. So on every default airport runway, the centerline markings are missing, threshold markings missing, runway numbers are partially displayed but still have tire skidmarks, and other textures as you can see from the picture. Also, the grass texture comes in patchy next to the runway. This doesn't happen in prepar3d v4. I'm not using external texture program. All Orbx though, Base, Vector, basically all the open LCs. I'm thinking something is not layered right in scenery libraries. Thanks, Dave
  7. It seems I am missing some runway textures and/or the surrounding airport textures are missing. Basiclly the runway markings are all messed-up and so is the grass texture next to the runway. I'll try and attach a pic
  8. Well I fixed it and all is working as it should. I think I dowloaded the old version of Vector or the new version got deleted in the process of updating my installers. Thanks everyone for your help! Dave
  9. Well the problem isn't the fact that I can't find the Vector configuration tool. Even though it does not appear where it should (inside the FTX central) I can open it in its folder location. The problem is I get this message after opening the tool, "could not find a part of the path "F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3Dv3\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC\scenery" This along with the fact that the tool is not inside the actual FTX central leads me to beleive something went terribly wrong with the install. But like I've said, I've tried many fresh installs from scratch with no success.
  10. Prepar3d is installed on my F drive along with all of my add-ons.
  11. Yes, I've seen it here before and when I click on it I get a message saying that it could not find a part of the path "F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3Dv3\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC\scenery"
  12. I installed global base without too much trouble but the vector install is corrupt no matter how many fresh installs of prepar3d I do. First off, I get a "Can't find the manual file" when I click on the FTX Global Vector adobe file inside the FTX Central. Second, there is no "Vector configuration tool" inside FTX Central where I have seen others find it. Lastly, when I try and do a repair install of Vector I get a message saying that it could not find a part of the path "F:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3Dv3\ORBX\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_AEC\scenery" I have version 1.40 of Global and vers
