  1. No, it isn't in FTX Central. Mine is here C:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\Troubleshooter So go to your Flight Sim folder (FSX or P3D) find your ORBX folder there, go to the Troubleshooter directory below it and it is in there.
  2. Having got absolutely feed up fighting/repairing/lubricating cheap yokes, throttles and pedals I was about to bite the bullet and invest in a desktop PFC Cirrus Saab Yoke and probably a Go Flight GF-TQ6 Throttle along with inflated shipping costs and import duties even though when researching, I could not find a good consensus in any flight sim community as to what were the "Go To" products. Don't get me wrong, I have had a lot of enjoyment from my very first CH Yoke and CH Pedals( 15 years ago) and its replacement Saitek Yoke and 2 x Throttles but they have all required copious amounts of maintenance and TLC to keep alive. I am just about to receive my MFG Crosswind pedals in the next few days to replace my CH Pedals and was about to place a Yoke and Throttle order when I discovered http://aerosimsolutions.com.au/products.html and was stopped in my tracks. Not least because they are very close to where I live but also by the simplicity of their well thought out solutions and also what seemed like a fair price compared with what else was on offer. I am not over the moon about building things when I could be flying and didn't really want a column yoke but considering all the things I have had to compromise on in my flight simming I think I can learn to adjust. I will see if I can think up with a way to construct a desktop yoke from the components but if not at least I have a fall back position. I am NOT building a full on cockpit (famous last words!!) but rather just wanting to get some high quality gear that works well so I can just continue enjoying my flight sim. I will probably need one of these BU0836X 12-Bit Joystick Board http://www.leobodnar.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=94&products_id=180 and if you never hear from me again because I have fried myself fly safe.
  3. I have had a few of these and resolved it in one of two ways. First: Turned of my AVG virus checker - normally always resolved the issue. Second: If I could not fix the issue I copied the offending file form an old install directory. Hope you can sort this out, it is really frustrating when it happens.
  4. I think you are going to be hard pushed to get what you consider "beautiful Orbx Flight Sim experience" with your budget. However, to start, look at sites like PCCASEGEAR (Victorian company) and examine what they offer for your budget like https://www.pccasegear.com/products/33889/pccg-razer-970-gaming-system then price up what it would cost you to buy those components and assemble yourself. Use this as a yardstick and then either decide to stick to your budget or spend all of the AUS$1,700 on extra goodies improving on what they offer for the money. In Western Australia you could compare with PLE https://www.ple.com.au/FeatureCategory.aspx?CategoryId=786 but I find them quite a bit more expensive than PCCASEGEAR albeit a lot more convenient for myself to just drop in. At the end of the day you are always going to be chasing your tail as new HW/SW comes out. I usually find that aiming for the "Sweet Spot" and getting the most "Bang For Buck" is the easiest way forward.
  5. I also use a Dell Ultrasharp 27" at 2560x1440 the U2713H model and have been very happy for a long time. Here in Australia I think they retail online from Dell for about AUS$900.00 but Dell regularly (about every 90 days) does a 30% discount which makes it a bargain.
  6. I got the P3D V3 FTXAU installed but 2 files would not decompress. 015f2wif.bmp 024c2sp3.bmp Would it be ok just to copy these two bmp's from my Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2.5\ORBX\FTX_AU\FTXAU38_CUSTOM\texture directory over to my P3D V3 installation?
  7. After downloading FTX Global 1.4 and installing FTX Central - P3DV3 and opening FTX Central it does indeed try to download Lib 150815. However, it hovers between 565 days and 222 days left to download sometimes flashing 6 hours left only to return to 500+ days left. I will let it run for a while longer or else I will just wait until the download lib is released. Update: Just got an error: FTX Central has encountered an unrecoverable error: TimeSpan overflowed because the duration is too long.
