  1. Well blow me - who'd've thought that ? Ok, I'll bow to Google's superior - and rather obvious - photographic evidence and wend my way across that wasteland knowing what it could look like with tree's all over the place Nick, I really appreciate you taking the time on this, thank-you very much
  2. Thanks for the replies, really appreciate it..... @ve2dgz - will try that and report back later. @Nick - aye, that's pretty much what I'm seeing but only when the LC add-on is not installed. All sliders are as per Orbx recommendations and the Libraries were the last thing installed. I'll try the resync to simulator and hope that works. Thank-you. Edit: the resync made no difference, sadly. Any further idea's / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hoping you fella's are still giving support to FSX users but noticed this problem whilst at KBFK today: With OpenLc_NA installed: With OpenLc_NA removed: Installed: Removed: With Lc_NA installed the surrounding area looks like a nuclear wasteland - albeit greenish - with the odd tree and sporadic building here and there; however when removed all the expected scenery add-ons, trees and buildings etc. are in situ and as one would expect. I recently had to reinstall FSX:SE along with the Orbx add-ons including Glob
  4. One more for the pot, so to speak; used to breed rabbits years ago and a young 'un was called a kit (presumably shortened from kitten).
  5. Seamless install that appears to have also resolved a recurring issue I'd been having with stalled d/loads (Win 10 / FSX:SE user).
  6. Great shots of the old Carvair, Martyn. Wouldn't it be nice to see a new rendition of the Bristol Freighter too ?
  7. If I may suggest/request: 1L9 - Parowan, Utah 41U - Manti-Ephraim, Utah please and thank-you ;-) Kevin
  8. For consideration please: N19 - Aztec Municipal, NM. Small 'field that appears to be set in a depression https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Aztec+Municipal+Airport/@36.8353614,-108.0281874,1707m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xc26ea840ef33daf2!8m2!3d36.834726!4d-108.028402 Thanks for your continued great work
  9. Fawlty Towers. In particular, any line said by Ballard Berkeley (Major Gowen) who must've been born for that role.
  10. Great shots, John - and isn't that Tri-Pacer an absolute peach ?
  11. Echo these sentiments 100% - especially the part regarding the axe...... Just seems odd where a vote goes to how good an aircraft is looking - not the scenery, which is what I thought it was all about. Oh well, maybe I missed something but not losing any sleep over it as whichever way you look at it, there's some pretty amazing shots there ;-)
  12. Just about to depart UT25 (Monument Valley) a couple of days ago for a run to KGCN.....
  13. ATIS @ 100% VCP @ 50 % ATC Volume @ 70% Radio Noise @ 50% with 'Variation' ticked. And if your level of sound diminished during the flight, it's probably down to your set-up as, unsurprisingly, the PF3 volumes are 'fixed' at what you've set up.
  14. Problem now seems to be resolved; FTX & OLC library insertion points appear to have become reversed somehow. Don't know how, don't know why - maybe during a start-up sync phase the programme broke gas..... Thanks for all the help and support anyway.
  15. Thank-you for taking the time to respond, John - checked what you've suggested and the install lines are/were the same as those of the many other Orbx add-ons. I've just now done another flight in the latter area mentioned above and I'm surprised at just how much of a mess it's now looking. I'm assuming now that this issue has been caused by the NA_LC installation as all was hunky dory before. I guess if I can't find anything else here in the support forums I'll have to look at removing it
  16. Tried running the 'Force Migration' tool and also ran the M/Troubleshooter and results came back ok with no anomalies. Checked LGB again and the problem is still active. Did a run also up in the Missoula area and noticed spurious tiles in areas they shouldn't be - not many, but enough to tick me off - and here's a shot of a small stretch of water: I can however confirm that these misplaced tiles have definitely only appeared since loading in NA_LC as I fly this region very regularly. So I guess that this post is potentially now in the wrong stream, so apologies for t
  17. Interesting one this; knowing the limitations of my lowly pc I tend to avoid the Los Angeles/San Diego areas like the plague. So imagine my surprise when I made the unfortunate mistake of dropping into KLGB yesterday to find they'd redesigned the airport; By coincidence, I'd just installed the NA LC about an hour earlier but cannot say if this was the result of the add-on as this was the first time I'd ever visited LGB. Also installed are Global, Vector, SoCal, HDTrees. I checked out a couple of near-by 'fields and they appear to be ok. Whils
  18. Hi John, really sorry to hear that you've had no joy getting PF3 working - seems you've fallen into a very small number of people that've hit some kind of wall unlike the many hundreds - nay, thousands - that are enjoying the product. I must say that if DM is unable to figure out what your problem was then it's possibly something quite unique to your set-up. I think your statement of the forum being useless is a little sweeping but if that's your experience.... Anyway, it's not a cheap product by any stretch of the imagination and with the problem(s) that you've been
  19. Really pleased to hear that things went pretty well for you and that you liked it - that's what it's all about. You're most welcome for what little assistance I could give, John and hope you get much enjoyment from the product - though there's quite a bit that you can tweak and adjust until you're happy/comfortable with it. Regarding the progressive taxi instructions - don't forget you can activate either a separate gauge or, as I use, the heading bug to indicate the direction you should take towards your parking space (and of course, you have the voice commands telling you too) - they're in
  20. Erm, in this case ? Perhaps the pc/laptop to which you downloaded the programme to originally ? Sorry, I'm no tecchy so open to offers here.....
  21. Morning John, really glad to hear (and see) that you're registered in their support forum now. As you'll see, if you haven't already, it's pretty active and response times to queries are very good so hopefully things'll get ironed out for you sooner rather than later. Regarding P3D v3.3.5 - as PF3 sits outside of the sim, there shouldn't be anything untoward happening but maybe once you've re-installed the programme it'll all fall into place but of course, any problems, just post over there and you'll get pointed in the right direction btw, if you've still not received Dave's mes
  22. Nothing came through, John but that's ok...... I sincerely hope that the problems you're experiencing can be resolved soon so that you can enjoy this add-on
  23. Hi John - I've just p.m.'d you with details on contacting Dave March direct. He's more than happy to help sort things out for you
  24. John, obviously something's not right here as I've just created a second account there without a problem. Knowing Dave, if you want you're money back, I'm sure he'll sort something out for you. I'll get in touch with him directly and get back to you as soon as.....
