  1. Hi Carlos, Just create a custom camera that sits just in front of your prop. Here is a link to a video that shows the process to do it.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRS-Qmu5qtg Rod
  2. I believe this has been discussed before. At this point, to the best of my knowledge, Orbx does not have an option to choose notifications by sim. Rod
  3. Wherever there are areas of MSFS photogrammetry, those areas would probably not be improved that much though London is a great example where Orbx imporved on a MSFS photogrammety city with an addon pack. Outside of the photogrammety areas (which is most of the world) there are plenty of opportunities for POI improvement as well as some other improvements where the Asobo engine has not done a good job. For example, TrueEarth England has hundreds of castles, churches etc. modeled throughout the countryside that are inTrueEarth Great Britain but not in MSFS now and I doubt that they will app
  4. Yes, POIs for all of the TrueEarth areas....we know the models already exist! Rod
  5. Of course, the entire MSFS globe is not on your hard drive. In fact, almost none of the major detail is. Things start looking pretty sparse if you disconnect from the continuous online donwloads. Rod
  6. @Andreas Hegi 3W5 is great! Thanks! S43 and W16 would also be great in MSFS. Just can't have one without the other Rod
  7. Based on your other Orbx posts, I assume you are talking X-Plane 11 though you don't mention what sim. I am also not sure what you mean by "airports folder" but I haven't noticed any separate Orbx Northern California airports for X-Plane 11 on OrbxDirect .....not sure about 3rd parties. Of course, I am just guessing about what you asked.... Rod
  8. The drone mode is not really a great substitute for Bob. One of Bob's key features was to be able to move/walk along the terrain. The drone will not conform to the terrain as if you were walking or driving on a road. When the drone reaches a downslope, it just keeps moving straight and does not follow the downslope without control manipulation. That said, I am not sure Bob could be written for MSFS since the functionality was based on the fact that FSX/P3D allowed a plane to be slewed. Rod
  9. Your are referring to the road tunnel that goes underneath Concrete High School. See pic below from P3Dv5: Rod
  10. Oops....should have mentioned that my shot of the bridge was with Orbx KTIW installed. Rod
  11. Thank you, @Matteo Veneziani, for your hard work on the adjustment to KBUR that fixed the frame rate issue. I just flew in to KBUR and frame rates were beautiful! Not only is KBUR a gorgeous but now Orbx developers know how to adjust something that is required at times when using this new simulator. It is a learning process for us all. Great job! Rod
  12. If you choose "About" option at top of the orbxdirect.com page, you will find a business contact email towards the end of the "About Orbx" information. Rod
  13. I have attached two images using MSFS and Orbx 1S2 with most graphic settings set to High though Terrain Detail is set at about 150 since I don't see any real frame rate hit. The first image is taken from the same perspective as John's pic #3. The second image is taken just above street level in the town of Darrington. For me, these two pics attest to the superior visuals found in MSFS. The only downside is that the mountain topography elevations are smoother than P3DV5 due to Microsoft's current SDK block to 3rd party developers (including Orbx) on uploading higher rez meshes. Hopefully,
  14. In the US, at least for me, the video is blocked with a message that says : Video unavailable This video contains content from Gadfly Communications, who has blocked it in your country on copyright grounds. Rod
  15. I believe you need the Wales scenery or you will lose the detailed version of EGFF. Rod
  16. TE Florida incorporates the Orlando CityScene POIs etc and, to me, looks as good or better than CityScene. Rod
