  1. I LOVE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! Edwards AFB is perfect now! I created this paint to have a Heavy Aircraft to do evasive and unusual maneuvers with a big jet. But I also made it available for everyone hope you enjoy... Respectfully: David..
  2. Not really, I still prefer FSX, but Dino's aircraft works with both platforms.
  3. This is not a ORBX problem, but is anyone having issues with the latest update from Microsoft concerning update #1709 for Windows 10 and FSX/P3D? Several forum members on other sites are reporting major issues on this latest build from Microsoft, I feel that it will effect our little realm and do some serious damage to the flight sim world. I am placing the faults that have occurred to my system for you to review, and compare if you are having the same issues or even different issues. Remember that ORBX and all other vendors are also victim's of this bad update, if you can't fly on Windows 10 then why buy anything that relates to flight simulation? If you or the ORBX team are working on the 1709 update and all of it's issues then I thank you ahead of time. If you know a fix then please tell me. As for now "I'M GROUNDED!" Here is what is happening: 1. Error: “Error Creating Child Window” 2. Error: “Unable to Load” 3. Error: “Unable to save flights” 4. Error: “Unable to Escape or End Simulation” 5. Error: “Invalid Commands” 6. Error: “Unable to Start” Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709 Successfully installed on ‎12/‎7/‎2017 · FSRecorder – 12/10/2017 20:16:35 I had to delete and remove all files and folders related to this program, which is BAD! If you take the time to actually chat with the Representative maybe we will get the attention of Microsoft and maybe they will resolve these issues the link is listed below. If you’re not having issues with Windows 10 consider yourself lucky, but as Windows 10 grows and updates it will push older programs to the invalid box. Personally I feel Microsoft was trying to hypothetically rebuild a classic car and forgot to put the fuel injectors in before releasing to the public. Be aware that Microsoft no longer Officially Supports FSX so you need to be tactful and diplomatic with the Rep. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us Get past the Virtual Agent, and go to “Contact Us” and start chat. //########################################################################### Log Name: Application Source: Application Error Date: 12/9/2017 22:09:28 Event ID: 1000 Task Category: 4. Lets Start with a Bang! In July 2013, the Air Force began a fleet-wide technological upgrade of its B-52 bombers called Combat Network Communications Technology (CONECT) to modernize electronics, communications technology, computing, instrumentation, and avionics on the flight deck. CONECT upgrades include software and hardware such as new servers, modems, radios, data-links, receivers, digital flight deck and workstations for the crew. Making the B-52 compatible with 21st century flight and combat roles. They are just coming on-line as of 12/2015 Items reworked for FSX/P3D 1. True FSX Native modeling, converted to FSX using ARNO’s MDLX program. 2. All new paints. 3. New blank bump mapping 4. All paints are in DDS format. 5. Multiple Liveries. 6. New air configuration file. 7. New HD VC textures 8. FSX Air File installed. 9. Camera views added. 10. Transparency issue with VC model addressed. 11. All new digital cock pit created. 12. FSX coded gauges and sub panels 13. Default and custom GPS 14. Working Traffic Radar There are multiple popup windows that can be activated with-in the VC, they include the following. A full sized Horizontal Situational Indicator. A full sized Attitude Indicator. A full sized custom GPS. A full sized Radar Screen. • Icon controlled Radio popup. Icon controlled over head electrical engine start panel. Icon controlled Throttle Panel. Icon controlled default GPS, Icon controlled Map, Icon controlled ATC, Mouse able Autopilot, Mouse able Flaps, Mouse able Landing Gears, Mouse able Warning lamps. 5. A Holiday request for Orbx: Hi guys well I’m here with the kids and having a great time! But my Granddaughter asked me “Why don’t the military bases in Australia have parking spots?” I couldn’t answer her, so I’m asking you guys can someone add parking to all the bases in Australia or better yet to all Military bases with-in all the Orbx regions. Not just for my Granddaughter, but for everyone who likes to fly Military, as for me some AI traffic for these bases would be helpful. Happy Holidays Respectfully: David…

  8. Last Year A challenge if you will Originally posted by: April 5th, 2014, 23:06 By: (padburgess) Sim-Outhouse Member Hi All Well not so much a challenge as an opportunity to display some of your skill and share an adventure. I have just finished the first leg of a planned route and invite you all to share the experience. My flight was VFR, from Abbortsford to Prince George via the Fraser River valley/gorge. I invite you all to fly the route as I did and then post some shots of it or just register your success or not as the case may be. There are a couple of simple rules. The flight must be in the river valley, at no more than 600ft AGL, at no less than 350knots and you must not pop up above the surrounding terrain highest points (stay below radar coverage). You may cut corners where suitable (it is impossible to keep to the river valley implicitly as the turns in places are just too tight, so as long as you do not pop the surrounding terrain you can straight line them). I used Alphasims TSR2 for my flight but you can use what ever aircraft you like, as long as it can sustain 350knots. Most of my flight was done at above 450knots with a max of 580knots, then a full throttle run (dry) over Prince George. Paul This Year: Low Level, High Speed... November 1st, 2015, 14:42 By: ViperPilot2 Sim-Outhouse Member Howdy! Last year (I think), a few of us here got together to do a 'comparison' of different Fighters making a high speed, low level run down a River valley somewhere, starting in either the NW US or SW Canada. Does anyone here remember that Thread, and the series of Flights that were posted? I cannot remember if it was here, or in the FSX Forum. I remember using Kirk's Viper, Kaz's F-117N and his A-7 to do the runs with... Just wondering if there's any interest to give these another go, all in the name of FUN and BRAGGING RIGHTS afterward? Thanks for your interest! I'll also put this in the FSX Forum. Alan My Submission: Sorry I'm late for the party, After three try's here is my flight. 600ft AGL in a hairpin turn alittle harder to do then I thought. Respectfully: David. >https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BUQ7f1IWAw
