sorry to say, but I went back to the old FTX Central until there is a frame friendly solution. I do not want to switch off around 44 US airports with 44 mouseclicks now when it was possible to have one mouseclick for this switching. Fritz

Funny but with old FTX Central setting to default no ORBX scenery is shown in scenery list and everything starts faster and runs smoother. How can I have this performance boost back?

I also have problems with the new FTX Central 2. I have lost sound with all aircraft, and I cannot revert back. I have a German FSX and I have 2 folders now, one is named SOUND the other SOUNDS Is this correct? Also there is no possibility to switch to FSX default. Thanks for any suggestion, Fritz

Hi Steward, yes, I have all North American Regions active, but no other regions installed (or active). I do not have Global or OpenLC. What I mentioned is that loading time with ALL other Add Ons except KFHR is 3.5 Minutes. Just ONE airport more - KFHR - and loading time is more than twice as long, 7.5 minutes! Maybe something deep in my hardware or in some complexity settings is the reason for it. Thanks, Fritz

No doubt, this is a wonderful scenery! BUT there must be something wrong with the loading time! I have FSXGold edition, with default scenery and default trike and new started Windows I have 55 sec loading time, With North America enabled and KFHR disabled in the scenery I have 3.5 minutes loading time. Then with KFHR enabled loading time rises to 7.5 minutes, even with the default trike! Frames are OK, but I have never experience such a long loading time, even on most complex airports in ORBX land. I would be happy if somebody can find the reason for this enormous

The "oldfashioned way" worked for me, as it is described 2012 here: No idea, why the new way does not work as intended

Hi Holger, I made some tests and had a strange observation. I have an older FSX-installation on Windows XP, with 4 NA regions and 13 airports, all from ORBX. Latest installation was 2013 and there are none of these anomalies visible. What I do not understand: Why are these anomalies visible when there is NOTHING from ORBX selected? Cheers, Fritz
