  1. Singapore ( the entire island ) for X-Plane, please. Or at least put it on the to-do list for FS2020.
  2. Australians are renowned for their fortitude and resilience, but these are severely trying times for them. I lived there as a boy and they were the best years of my childhood. Australia will always have a place in my heart, and I feel great sorrow as this catastrophe engulfs such huge swathes of the country. All the very best to all of you from your British 'family'.
  3. Yep, I'll go along with that. Orbx Central, ( and FTX Central before it, of course ) makes things so easy. We often comment on the various scenery products, but Central is like the faithful butler at the palace. Discreetly in the background, but indispensable to the day-to-day running of things. Very well done.
  4. Yes, I think PC Pilot is just about the only one left. I used to have annual subscriptions, but stopped as my simming activities have declined. It was great for tutorials, ( invaluable in some cases, like the DCS A-10 and PMDG NGX ), but the add-on reviews weren't up to much. If you have a tablet, it's worth getting the E-version because some of the paper versions of back-issues are no longer available, and there might be a tutorial you need.
  5. Looks very good indeed. Just a small point, Aimee - EGLC is east of Canary Wharf, a bit down river, not between Canary Wharf and the City of London.
  6. I agree - the second to last shot. A great time to take a picture because you see the things you would see in daylight, plus a bit of the night lighting too. The combination makes for a remarkable screenshot.
  7. Thanks from me too. Having recently bought X-Plane 11, True Earth GB was top of the add-on list, and the sale helped enormously. Much appreciated.
  8. Very sorry to see this aircraft depart Europe. I remember her at Duxford, performing displays with the Plane Sailing Catalina. It was wonderful to see two in the air together.
  9. Hi Colin, You raised a fair point - I've just bought all three True Earth GB areas for X-Plane, and while I've managed to install South, I'm currently jiggling other games around to find room for Central. North is going to have to wait for my new computer later this year! They certainly are big, but as always, it's simply a case of do you want it ? If so, then that's how big it is and they can't make it any smaller while keeping the same quality. A statement of the obvious, of course, but worth repeating. Downloading, installing and backing up True Earth GB South took
  10. A minor point but could you replace the oil tankers at the container terminals with container ships ? Spectacular scenery, though I'm just starting out with X-Plane, and T.E. GB is my first priority.
  11. I wonder if this would be possible ? We already have the prospect of Australia 2, and I'm sure many people would agree that further Orbx development northwards would complement Oz beautifully. Singapore lends itself readily to such development as it is a small island rich in detail, and has the best international airport in the world ( IMO ). Any chance of it in either in P3D or XP-12, Orbx ?
  12. Same for this P3Dv4 user. A demo of TE GB for X-Plane, and the ORBX discount code to sweeten buying the sim itself - if that isn't astute marketing, I don't know what is. It certainly worked on me, and I'm starting to like what I see in XP 11.
  13. Looking very good. I haven't bought much from Orbx over the last few years, but I think things are about to change.
