  1. This is quite old, and I'm sure many of you will have seen it in the past. But like many truly fine things in life, it doesn't ever seem to lose its lustre. I hope you enjoy it and if you smile, then I am pleased All the best Pete Medieval helpdesk with English subtitles - YouTube

  2. Hi there, fellow pilots, I'm happy to post some previews of the upcoming airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator - UKLL/LWO. Welcome to the City of Lions - Lviv in Ukraine, located in the geographical heart of Europe. Danylo Halytskyi International Airport "Lviv" is the biggest airport in Western Ukraine. Its route network consists of more than 60 destinations across Europe and Middle East. For the Euro-2012 championship the new air-terminal complex was built at the airport. New terminal "A" with a total area of 39 thousand square meters has 9 departure gates, 4 of whic

  3. Not the plane but that part of England I really admire. Westbound from Newcastle. Ullswater - I wandered lonely as a cloud. Thirlemere - my favorite. Derwent Water and the town of Keswick. Almost all of it.

  6. Since I never watch anything on television, anyway, let alone sports, I don't see why I'd change, even on a desert island. Probably the most fun would be trying to figure out an electric source for said television, just to have something do.

  8. No one can ever match our "cloud master" Adam It's just a snap after the latest Hotfix update 1.14.6 which I liked. But performance wise it's just plain incredible . I have everything on Ultra and for over an hour it was just like passing a hot knife through butter. Cheers Pete

  9. In the same vein as my observation on the Food Channel, this to would likely only make it worse, emphasizing what we can't have. Of course for we old Coot's, the spirit is willing, even if the flesh is weak.

  10. Sort of reminds me of the fellow who called the help desk because his new computer stopped working. After running through all the routine diagnostics, the help desk person asked how long the computer hadn't been working. To which the fellow replied "ever since the electricity went off."

  13. The early morning saw me taking off from Zanzibar in the Indian Ocean... ... to a short hop over the strait... ... and to Dar es-Salaam for an intermediate stop. Maybe better to take a faster plane for the rest of this days leg. Climbing out of the coastal city again and turning westwards. It was confusing to enter all these waypoints over central Africa: Some were present in Skyvector, some in Pro-ATC/X, and some other in the PMDG system. But finally I came to the central Namibian deserts (which look a bit boring her

  26. In JRR Tolkien's Hobbit, recall how when Bilbo and the Dwarves were transiting Mirkwood, starving, Bombur fell into an enchanted sleep after being bitten by a spider, dreaming of a banquet. When he was awaken he was still starving, but the memory of the dream banquet made it so much worse! So, A food channel on a desert island? Insult to injury! No thanks!

  37. Hi OND Wasn't the first thing that came to mind, but yes it is. Cheers Pete Thanks Adam Ah, but to me you are indeed Sir! I am fascinated by what you do. Your ability to choose exactly the right cloud rendering to bring a screenshot to life is pure art. I look forward to everything you do. To be honest it took me a bit to get on board, but I'm now an unabashed "fan boy" Cheers Pete

  42. @Captjames748 -- This "SCENERY_PACK Custom Scenery/Digital_Design_GCTS_Tenerife_v2_Mesh/" is for the default MESH. You don't require this as you already have Orbx for the Canaries installed. See above. Also I did a little surgery on your "scenery_packs" ini file and Jon may want to layer it further when he comes on. scenery_packs.ini
