  2. Hi, although I appreciate the city landmarks packs like London, Singapore and Paris, they only cover a tiny area in regions otherwise devoid of interesting landmarks. What I'd love to see are landmarks packs that include every Landmark of a True Earth region, like GB North, not only the famous buildings but also VFR reference points like wind turbines, chimney stacks... Is there any chance we might see something like this in the not too distant future?

Hokitika has two touristic sights (as per my knowledge): The glowworm dell https://www.adventurewest.co.nz/Destinations/hokitika/Hokitika-Glow-Worm-Dell , which should be near the airstrip but invisible in such thing as a flight simulator... ... and, if you follow Hokitika river some miles upstream, ... ... the Hokitika Gorge. https://hokitika.org/places/59/Hokitika-Gorge Seems like a suitable place to hike. We complete the day by heading further south to Lake Mapourika... ... and to a small airfield which is

  8. Should be number 3, right knee. But elective surgery is being deferred, and even if it weren't, I don't think I would want to be in the hospital at this point. Besides, had the left one done last year, and it was not a great success. Still painful. But I'll settle for 2, if I can trade the coal for a cord of firewood. Oil prices are still fairly low, but wood is still cheaper. But I'll join the chorus asking Santa for the vaccine, the end of the pandemic, and a return to a more normal life.

  10. Much as I am enjoying MSFS it's hard to beat XP11.50 and Orbx True Earth. These shots of the fantastic Aerobask Lancair Legacy RG were taken over the Mojave Desert in TE California. They are a winning combination on so many levels and I'm really looking forward to TE Canary Islands. I only wish Orbx would do TE New Zealand given the diversity of the landscape. What about it Orbx?!

  12. Hi folks!!! I'm genuinely touched by your concern! Yes - I'm alive and well - and grateful to be in this beautiful little country [NZ] when there so much tragedy out there in the wider world. However - RL has been taking over my virtual world lately - and I haven't had the opportunity to do too much in all the sim forums either. It's really very unlike me to pass on so many Orbx screencomps! Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible!!! :-) Adam.

  13. Dear Ed, Nick and Team I've been wishing for John Lennon Liverpool, from Orbx or Partner, for a few years. Apart from being my maternal city, Mum and family were raised on the Anfield Road, Liverpool is a great launch pad between Ireland and England as well as a destination in it's own right and a point between Scotland and the English Midlands; a phenomenal city! Other family were from Cumbria; farm workers and Merchant Seamen. I am and shall remain a loyal supporter of the superb Lockheed Martin platform P3D; great for serious pilots. I am delighted with t

Sure we are not just passing over it, ... ... we have the right bird to land and explore. Before cooling down too much... ... we cross the peaks around Mt. Cook... ... and visit the neighboring Fox Glacier for another hike. Some 50

  18. So we have a few shots around Dublin in the Jabiru, I bought both today and I am very happy.....I have the airport also in p3dv5 but I think this version sits better in the sim.... I really like this plane to, feels so smooth to hand fly, on one or two of the default I feel I am fighting the controls......

  19. Hello John, none of it. Everyone who is interested has their own theory and the fact that there "hasn't been more criticism of China" may well be that the facts do not necessarily support your belief. However, this is not a political discussion forum and in fact, the rules do not allow it. I must say, I like the idea of Rodger's topics and have no desire to moderate them, though it remains my job to make sure that the rules are not broken.

  20. Thank you Wayne. Indeed, 2020 has not been a year that went as foreseen, not for anybody I suppose. At least we are still here to report! Thank you John. Getting back into normal virtual flight mode gets me a lot of pleasure! Thanks a lot Karl for watching & commenting. We need to get back into the normal reporting about the Mule Team experiences and, eventually, my virtual excursions. Getting the mentioned shots will sure take a while, and we will gain lots of experiences on this. I keep my fingers crossed all works as hoped. We can hardly reduce our contacts

  21. This is my first travel report after months of stay-at-home, even virtual. In this case mainly caused by renovation work and the related honeydo stuff. But my P3D is still working, nearly unchanged and free of unwanted updates! After trekking along the Abel Tasman NP it is time to leave Motueka, ... ... travel through the hinterland of Nelson, ... ... and work down into the west coast mountains of NZSI. Driving along Kawatiri highway would be much easier than flying in this conditions. But we come clear pass Mt. Lyell.

  23. Yes and no. Takes too long in the Mule Team Air to get to Santa Barbara so we switched the Bombardier 700. More comfy and once we're at FL on AP we can stretch out in the cabin with some beers and single Malt And by the by no Fish Haggis since we have no passengers. Cheers k (Sad news we didn't make it. I somehow overstressed that airplane .Ain't done that in a long time)

As a popular holiday destination, the airport sees a mix of airline, corporate, GA traffic and helicopters and acts as a base for coastguard and firefighting aircraft. One thing is for sure though, spectacular views are guaranteed! Features Highly detailed

  34. Echo you Flyingleaf for 2021. You know what surprises me is that there hasn't been more criticism of China. The whole problem started from their experimental laboratory in Bhutan yet not a word of blame from our leaders. I'm not saying they intended it but lets face it, it was bloody careless of that silly scientist who wandered around the town after working in that environment. Wonder how much of this is going to get past eagle eyes ?!
