  1. The release of Weather Preset Pro earlier this month was met with huge success and a great response from the community. Your feedback has helped shape the product into something even greater than the original release. As a result of that feedback and our commitment to always providing quality products at fair prices, we will soon be releasing a free update to Weather Preset Pro. Version 1.10 of Weather Preset Pro will not only fix a handful of bugs reported by the community, but also add 10 additional presets to your collection. This now brings the total number of inclu

  8. By now TT was back in Utah. He received another letter. Dear Sir We are in receipt of your letter of the prior day. After careful perusal of the contents therein, we have decided to agree to your expressed desire to have 3 objects placed in your hangar at Bryce Canyon Airport Accordingly, you will see 3 vehicles in the picture below. Ownership has been transferred to you from VJ, our R&D Director. Although his collection is vast, we would appreciate it if you did not mention your acquisitions, should he be in touch with you after returning f

  9. Now we have nearly kept this thread running over a year. And what a year this has been, with no new travels for many of us since at least 7 months. So I drop in another picture of the "good old times" without that virus. I nearly forgot where I had been here...

  11. WOW....wow....WOW....v5.1 ROCKS! I have been flying with it for over an hour...started from Orbx KBHB (Bar Harbor), and there are SO MANY, updated features, and stark, and actually subtle improvements to the over all v5.x experience. For starters...I have never seen my Kodiak Amphib look so good, so (now) truly life-like in the sheen on the metal skin, PBR is fantastic now...ground shadows...and road traffic....I have never seen so much fabulous traffic, so well populated in any version prior of P3D, let alone FSX! Water and shading (I deleted my SHADER folder, and let the

  12. So I’m finally getting better after being infected with corona virus and have been refreshing some good videos on YT. I don’t know if You are but I recently started to like more and more European fighter jets (Dassault Rafale, Saab Gripen, Eurofighter Typhoon), they just look right. Last fighterjet from US that look good is Raptor. Fat Amy (F35) is such a disaster on so many levels that it begs a question how do they sell this stuff. But let’s chillout for a moment with nice music and some flying over Europe.

  15. Hi folks, With EA now the default in v5.1, be prepared for some objects not being suitably obscured by clouds, fog and haze. It's a known and difficult problem. There may (just may) be a work around for devs having to do with material properties in individual models, texture by texture. I hope you can appreciate that implementing work arounds for incremental updates is, how can I say it, problematic. You may find that with EA turned off the look can be rather garish; one thing you can try is to enable HDR and turn the saturation down, or if your video driver allows it, make

  17. My first impressions are... how do I put it mildly... rather underwhelming. There's still a lot of flickering/pixellation with EA clouds, objects still show through haze/clouds, and so on. I was happy to see that the terrible colors after sunset and before dawn got fixed, but the night lighting is still a mess. I mean, I hate to be negative, but... come on... is that supposed to be "no longer in beta"?

  18. Don't need to subscribe...done hundreds of these low level flights in hanging out the door in real life during my 17 years in the 101st Infantry Probably the thing I miss more than anything else from my military career of 28 years. Great video though for those that never had the chance to do it for real, even though there is no wind in the face or the smell of aircraft fuel

  21. Since some folks seem to have occasionally experienced issues with add-on scenery and rolling cache, I just wanted to give a heads-up with something I observed with this latest patch. After installing 1.10.7.0, I noticed under settings that this latest update automatically enabled rolling cache. Prior to the update under the 1.9.5.0 build, I had rolling cache disabled. If you also had rolling cache disabled, you may want to check your settings to ensure it is still disabled after the latest update. Cheers.

  24. Thanks for your review Landon and All. Interesting reading. In my case, I am quite happy with P3d V4.5HF3 and everything Orbx. My 210 degree surround outside view is terrific with Active Sky, and REX Environment Force running (and Sky Force run once) Nice atmospherics, nice weather transitions. The only thing I am missing is a decent frame rate on approach to older Orbx airports(<10 in some cases) Sounds like V5.1 will give me the frames but the atmospherics might not be to my liking. I only have 8Gb of RAM on my RTX 2070 Super. I might make the jump soon b

  26. I love your product... very simple to use and looks great. I don't know if you noticed but I did a bit of a promo video for it and posted it in the videos section of this forum. I'm not completely happy with the quality of my video, but it does show off each preset and I'm trying to get better at video production.

  34. The first batch of comments at the other sim site...A****, are truly NOT too encouraging. I am downloading it...but will not install it right now. One chap said that other than most of the 'beta' visual glitches in E.A. are in fact still there....he also had another 1GB of VR swallowed up. I only have 8 GB's, and simply can't afford that...I'd CTD in 20 seconds. Bummer...if true. Will be monitoring the forum as others install and run...

  35. Thanks for the comment John! Thank you Landon, I sort of liked the view also, just don't care for the window reflections on the right side, but alas...! Thanks Karl for the comment! Thank you Gumby for looking and commenting! As for that 3rd monitor, it would be more like 3 monitors, since the 2 that I have are pretty old and need replacing anyway! Now if you will email my other half and tell her that I need 3 36" curved HD monitors I would be eternally grateful to you! Thanks lain, not near as good as yours but I am learning!

I see different settings in several other posts is why I ask, and as John says maybe the weather programs will boost it a bit! All four pics are rock em, sock em though!

  43. Agree with the sentiment here and I would also like to see the TE series continue for XP. I've played around with MSFS for a few weeks now and the novelty has worn off. Some of the visuals in MSFS are amazing, but the whole experience feels a bit fake (reminds me of playing Forza). Most importantly, the planes and avionics are garbage and sounds like it will take years before quality aircraft are available for the platform. At the end of the day, the most important part of flight simming for me is the flying and this comes down to realistic planes. This is where XP shines and there is lon
