  5. When did you ever buy a piece of software that was 100% finished on release? Which piece of software never got an 'update' 'fix' or 'patch'? I certainly can't think of one. Even our beloved Orbx issue patches, fixes and updates. No, I'm not a rabid MFS fanboy although I do think it's very good, even though I am, as we speak, re-installing it because of a glitch I can't fix. It's just that the 'paying beta tester' thing is getting a bit old. *Thinks* Post rant? Yeah, why not?

  10. Thanks for commenting John. I am unsure regarding real travel in 2021, but I keep my fingers crosse we all will be on the move again in 2022... It is, John. And we long-stayers need to be louder in the forums! Thank you Roger. Let´s keep on, until all we need is sorted out. Thanks Herman. As said above, I have my doubts about next year. For the time being, we enjoy our p3ds in their full functionality. You are right, Karl. It would be much safer to fly a full-equipped DC-3. But there was none ! If you don´t post enough, yo

Here is a long journey in Algeria and Morocco but only in remote places : valleys of old Ksars, lonely canyons and great deserts ... upto the amazing Tadrar Rouge near and beyond the Libyan border... (P3Dv4-5 Open LC Africa) A touch of these areas by old pictures or old stamps from another time... And new repaint for the A2A V35B Bonanza ... already uploaded on Avsim (PS : the next repaint will be made for a plane to fly in these places but into msfs2020) 01a 01b 01c 02a

  14. Alaska is awesome in MSFS, but could really use some help by Orbx. For Southern Alaska, the Homer marina on the spit is underwater and could use a MSFS version of the Orbx airport. Seward airport seems to be missing completely. It might be a great place for an Orbx airport. There are also strange elevation glitches especially around lakes such as Lower Summit Lake by Cooper Landing. Any way Southern Alaska or various high need spots can get the Orbx treatment? Seems like an area that could benefit a lot from Orbx because it is not a 3d city region by Microsoft but Orbx has already done a lot of

  27. Thanks John. I have been missing the vintage aircraft, yet to appear in MSFS. Luckily I kept P3D v4.5 on its own SSD & put XP on an external SSD, making way for MSFS. For me, the light & scenery carry MSFS, but the aircraft need, in some cases, to improve & there needs to be some vintage in there. TTM

  30. Interesting. What about those that already own some airports of them. Can we merge them like we did with the pilotshop a few years back?

  31. @DOR RAGER - This looks great! I had a cheeky fly with your thames fix pack and it really brings a few missing details from the thames (in 2D of course, but looks good from the air!) the only issues i've come across is around Orbx London City airport, the water is too low, to the point where it's generating a long green patch of area where the water is too shallow (im assuming), I hope you can fix this cheers!

  36. After looking at it again I think that the trees in the photogrammetry areas arent bad, they definitely do have the algorithms tuned to pick up most of the trees... So I cant really pick out exactly what is off between autogen areas and photo areas. I could also be that the photo areas seems to be rendered in much more discrete blocks, and at least at medium settings the LOD distance makes the pop in very jarring. But thats the price of playing on an older computer. Ive been super impressed with this sim, and i just recently was able to get a steady 50+ fps just about everywhere i
