Wikipedia: "The Oggy Oggy Oggy chant (alternatively spelt Oggie Oggie Oggie), and its variations, are often heard at sporting events, political rallies and around numerous Scout and Guide campfires, primarily in Britain, Ireland and some Commonwealth nations. One group will shout Oggy three times, while another will respond with Oi! three times. " In this case, however, we're referring to OG20 ... the freeware offering of Fairways Airport in Oregon. "Now is the winter of our discontent Made glorious summer by this sun of York;" (from Richard III) It's winter here in NZ, so I thought I'd impose it on all the Tykes in Leeds! Orbx Leeds/Bradford in MSFS 2020: The shot below doesn't really do justice to the sim. The grass moves - and the raindrops cause little water-spouts when they hit the puddle. Amazing!! Adam.8 points

Regarding the screenshot rules i have noticed quite a few shots using MSFS 2020 that are coming in with no Orbx scenery in them please remember all shots posted here must show Orbx scenery that can be identified as Orbx, Any shots that dont will be removed thank you for your understanding. cheers Iain4 points

Been exploring all sorts of fascinating places that I can't show here, but just been back around London again. In two parts as I got a CTD and had to start again. Not had that before, and I'm wondering if it was caused by the new skins I installed, including the one for this Pitts. I'll have to remove them all again and see if it recurs. Anyway, came in towards Docklands from the south (from Gatwick) - Yeah, yeah, I know it's a cliche, but what's a boy to do? beginning to get to grips with the drone cam. Hi all. I recently installed the new MSFS 2020 program and am beginning the arduous process of learning its intricacies and encountering its bugs. It has a long way to go before it is patched and plugged enough to be familiar fun, but the potential is enormous. Purchased and installed my first MSFS Orbx product--Tacoma Narrows. I'd like to report that it was simple to purchase, download, and install through Orbx Central. It displays beautifully in the new scenery and is very faithful to the airport and environs (I used to visit there often). Looks like Orbx will be able to contrib3 points

So, after my CTD at the end of part 1 I restarted from EGLC in a standard livery version of the Pitts and went back to resume the tour. approaching Docklands from the Eat this time Yawn! This is where the sim crashed last time. Shame, I couldn't get quite the same angle and shot I was trying for this time round - the light had changed just a bit I see Orbx no longer advertises in Piccadilly Circus! Gonna give gliding another try with a different glider this time. Tow Plane take off from L52 Rwy 11, short fly around the area looking for hard to find thermals, was able to stay aloft for about 45 min (according to my Citizen's watch) at altitudes up to 1200 agl. Pretty neat and different flying, not as challenging as a helicopter but definitely different! Club bus and other pilots and wives are with us today. We had to reserve the a/p for the day in order to pull this outing off! Tow plane hooked up, almost ready to get airborne! And we hav2 points

Today’s flight takes us from Tacoma Narrows airport to Point Roberts Airport in Point Roberts, Washington. Point Roberts is a portion of Washington state located in Canada. The only way to get to point Roberts by car is through Canada. By air we are able to remain in a narrow slice of US airspace to land without entering Canadian airspace. Real world video recorded on a 4K GoPro camera mounted both under the left wing and on the pilot are included in this video for comparison purposes.2 points

Hi Ref. your CTD, I read a few days ago that extra liveries were causing some people to have CTD, sadly I cant remember where I read it. Whilst I was Alpha/Beta testing MSFS I also suffered some CTD until I c/o the following advise from another user: That’s what I did a few days ago and posted to this forum. I did NOT have to uninstall the game nor any Windows 10 updates. Just uninstall the VS C++ 2015-2019 x64 & x86 libraries and re-install them by downloading from: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads2 points

@251 If you enter an ILS frequency manually it works and even shows you the ILS runway information on the PFD/ND. If you create a flight plan and you select an ILS approach it should automatically select the correct ILS frequency. It works for the default airport (and most other airports with ILS approaches). @Doug Sawatzky thanks, i will do that2 points

A yellow flowered weed, along my back fence in early summer - in Scotland we called it gorse and a line of English kings had it Frenchified (Plantagenet) as their surname. This instance is a town in Western Australia.2 points

I must admit it's all too easy too easy to flout this rule. There's so much new stuff in MSFS that it's impossible to keep hitting the screen-save key. There wasn't that much Orbx scenery for MSFS 2020 at first, but that's quickly been rectified now ... there's even some Orbx freeware out there! No excuse, chaps!2 points

These are brilliant ! My biggest problem with Orbx and MS2020 is that I never fly anywhere "The shot below doesn't really do justice to the sim. The grass moves - and the raindrops cause little water-spouts when they hit the puddle. Amazing!! " I get so fascinated by just watching things like grass moving and water droplets falling that I never move on Does this mean that I am doomed to a lifetime of fascination with the littlest things ? Is there rehab available - a healthy dose of P3D or XPlane perhaps? Cheers & really well done2 points

Sorry for opening this topic needlessly, but I figured out how to do it! If anybody is curious... Command prompt, run as administrator mklink /J "C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\XXX1" "D:\Flight Simulator\Freeware\Community\XXX2" Where XXX2 is the folder you are linking to (where the files are stored) and XXX1 is where windows is creating the "hardlink" shortcut. Explainer here: https://www.howtogeek.com/howto/16226/complete-guide-to-symbolic-links-symlinks-on-windows-or-linux/2 points

Hey guys, i am just wondering if there is any possibility of making suggestions for a future project? I was very lucky to visit the Flight Safety Academy for 7 months during my initial and instrument phase and it is a real pity that there was never a scenery made for it. Like me there are many european flight student that come to KVRB every year for their commercial licenses and quiet a lot of them are also simmers so i think that customers wouldn't be a big issue. Besides the well known Flight Safety Academy, the airport is also known for the Piper plant which is quiet remarkable1 point

Thanks Paul. I'll try that. Cheers John. What I'm looking forward to is the simconnect fix - if I run LittleNavMap at the moment it turns the sim into a slide show.1 point

Hi Jon, I went to the extreme and formatted the dedicated SSD drive that I use for MSFS, completed a fresh install of the sim. Installed the Orbx KBUR package and launched the sim. I am happy to say that I no longer have the elevation issues. So with that said...considered this case closed! Regards, Kirk1 point

The airport itself looks great! Would love to see the FedEx and UPS A300's... that aside, there are major issues with performance at Burbank. It is unplayable for me ATM. Very high end PC that literally comes to a crawl. Unfortunately I had to uninstall until Orbx fixes the issues. They should take this off the market until fixed.1 point

Hello Sam, welcome to the forums. Have you installed the Orbx X plane library from Freeware - Global ?1 point

You can have them both Fly True Earth most of the year and in Fall and Winter you disable them and fly the regions so you can have the seasons Just be sure you can run TE packages as these are a bit demanding Cheers Carlos1 point

A big hit in Prepar3D and X-Plane, the best representation of Vienna Airport on the market has been rebuilt from the ground up using the new Microsoft Flight Simulator SDK, making use of features like the sim’s native jetway functionality (with custom assets, of course) and support for our incredible animations, which make the scenery feel more like a real place. Feature List: • Accurate and up-to-date recreation of Vienna-Schwechat Airport • Fully optimised for smooth performance • Operable and native Microsoft Flight Simulator jetways • High qualit1 point

Thank you for this simple, straightforward and rational appraisal of your experience with MSFS to date. I am quite happy to wait until the SPs are all in place and the SDKs are finalized before switching to MSFS from my very satisfying and stable installation of FSX (I gave the whole constant fiddle of P3D a miss) - I just hope that it all happens before my cognitive and physical state declines even further! And hopefully Orbx will have re-done PNG, OZ and NZ by then1 point

Tacoma is sadly empty.... there is no static aircrafts at all.... it is a bit sad and i was surprised by this fact from Orbx.... acan we hope for an update with at least a dozens of GA aicrafts populating the aprons ? best regards1 point

Guys I can confirm also the frames drop significantly (13 FPS from the 30s), with KBUR. MS2020. It appears to be caused by the static airplanes on the ramp. Somehow, they temporarily disappeared, and my frames went back to normal. As soon as they reappeared, I was back at 13 FPS. I’m flying with a JetLine System i9-9900k, with an NVidia 2080Ti. All drivers are up to date. Normal frames till about a three mile final. Ray1 point

I wasn't really aware either John, but before I was about to shut down my PC for the night, I thought maybe I should just check real quick to see if there were any updates, and what do you know....there was this free airport So, I installed it and when for a quick flight from there...really fun little grass airport! Right on Orbx!1 point

Thanks the latest update has sort of resolved the ATC issue. Once landed at EGLC I vacated the runway and changed frequency to the ground but I did not get an option to Taxi to the Gates or General aviation parking etc. Maybe I did something wrong?. So no marshalling but I was able to request refuelling though. Thanks for the prompt fix Orbx anyways!. Pete.1 point

Thanks for the help, finally, I went back to the aircraft.cfg file and made two changes, in the Flight tuning section I increased the "pitch stability" value from 1.0 to 1.2 and reduced the "elevator trim effectiveness" value from 1.0 to 0.2. The Victa is now the little sweetie it is supposed to be.1 point
