  7. In a hole in the ground there lived a pilot. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a pilot-hole, and that means comfort. During the morning hours, more and more paxes arrived, striving for free food and drinks. But a good pilot´s hole always has some sparkling on stock. United we stand! "May the wind under your wings bear you where the sun sails and the moon walks." Crossed the (blue) mountains to reach places so far eastwards the pilot had never

  10. Bought the HD collection yesterday and after a bit of fiddling got ot all set up wih Map and Cockpit switchable on Ipad No1 in landscape and Radio set up on Ipad No2 in portrait. Yet to give it a proper cross country run but certainly much cheaper than buying gauge/switch hardware, especially if you have a second old ipad hanging around. Does say that doesn,t necessarily work with all add on a/c but works fine with Carenado PA-46 Malibu Mirage

  11. Hi everyone. For quite a while now i have been looking for a way to sync instruments onto a 4th screen without using 2 computers networked together or taking a massive FPS hit off my GTX680.(I run a TH2go). So today I found the above APP.I have downloaded the interface programme and the instrument, moving map and auto pilot Apps..total about 40 aussie bucks. Well my dreams have come true..I have disconnected my 4th monitor hence massive increase in FPS and avail power.I can now look to get rid of my TH2go and use the Nivida 3D also. These Apps are just amazing. So i my be way behind the 8

  15. Forget about the chosen SSD--this system requires the mind blowing INTEL 750 NVME works across the bus to the processor, have purchased three of these beauties FSX and Scenery installed changes you flight sim experience for the better, WIN 10 been the operating system of choice.

  16. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and presume you are genuinely confused. The RXP GNS530 can't (1) load a saved flight plan. The only way to create a new flight plan is to enter it manually, which is laborious. You can mitigate this by loading a flight plan into the GPS500 and (2) switching control between this and the RXP. (2) can't be automated because it relies on a mouse click. (1) is simply not possible, although it is possible in the real GNS530 with an external flight planner and the Garmin Aviation Card Programmer. I don't know what kind of confusion could lead to you imagine an

  18. Your are damn true there captain... Flying on a lot of different types is indeed challenging...3 days in a row i may be flying in a 737..and then i may switch to a 757...which is totally different..then to a 767..somewhat similar..and then all of a different thing...airbus! lol....but it took me months to get familiarized and learn all the techniques..read the charts..understand about flying..but trust me..its never ending..i learn a new thing everyday!

  27. LOL You've got that right about the Netherlands! My main point was that Gerold made it sound as if mesh was mandatory, which it isn't. Well, depending on where you fly. But for the mentioned European parts and a flight out there every now and then, Global will do for starters. Just trying to save Kiki some money here.

  28. He said he wanted fly to 'to other parts of Northern and Western Europe' so other FTX regions do not apply here. And since default mesh in those areas is sufficient, addon mesh isn't a must either. I would advice to get Global first: as others said you need this before OpenLC and Vector will do you any good. I personally only fly in Norway but have Global installed because you can see a lot of Sweden when you fly near its borders and with default scenery that sucks big time. If you are going to spend more time outside of the regions, you could get OpenLC too, to make things look even better

  29. Indeed, from the portfolio you fly you sound like a flying maniac. It is a challenge to remain trained on lots of types... I can confirm the captain did the best he could!
