  5. I agree with Noel regarding the Great Courses. They provide quality educational experiences at a reasonable price. I also agree that intentional reading is a fine way to keep learning and continue to expand horizons. I also (seriously) think that flight sim is an invaluable means of staying alert while at the same time becoming more geographically aware. But the best way to stay vigorous is to participate in the world of ORBX The latest scientific studies show that purchasing ORBX products and taking part in the ORBX Forums increases lifespan, reduces hemorrhoids, improves prostate functi

  7. Today I took Tim's amazing A2A Cherokee repaint from KORS to KBLI, then decided to venture farther into Canada and see what's out there. Embarrassingly I had forgotten that PNW expands into Canada as well Anyway I slowly made my way up to Pitt Meadows, CYPK - I lovely little GA airport on the shores of the Fraser River. Here's the pics!

  9. great purchase ..... you wont be disappointed I flew it for 6 months strait after I bought it one of my most remembered moments is when I got a random engine failure (its modeled) shortly after take off the impossible turn and downwind leg to land where some of the most white knuckle and fun flying I have ever remembered in sim. Also I love the "VNAV bannana" the PC pilot mag gave it a platinum award from a reviewer that actually flies b 200 with the G 1000 GO buy it

  10. ...ah, penny drops! OK, yes, I agree, why do we pay so much for products that aren't precise? I guess it depends on your own level of realism. It's nice to sit back and see all the lights work, gauges do what they supposed to, but a sim with basics will still fly the same routes. I guess that's why I prefer a sports car to a 4 door every day vehicle.... Frank

  13. I just checked my Plan-G, and I can't see ABEH anywhere. I can't quite make out the coords in the images, but I'm guessing it must surely be an addon. But my big question is - what on Earth is that castle doing there? It looks like one of King Ludwig's creations, perhaps with a Disney makeover

  17. ABEH is not an FSX default airport, nor is it a Global Freeware or an RTMM airport. It does not appear in either the enabled or disabled VECTOR database. Has to be a addon third party field. Check you FSX Scenery Library for an entry for it and disable that entry.

To the development team Just a huge thanks for the updates, I had been flying older versions in FSX and finally got around to upgrading to P3D 2.5, and all I can say is wow, what a magically experience, thanks for the continued maintenance of this part of the world, its truly a magically place to fly in. Cheers Peter

  22. I've had it for P3D for about 2 months and love it! An awesome A/C if you like flying by the book and RW procedures. Plenty of great info and tutorials out there but I found Froggles video to be perfect for me. Short, sweet and pretty much complete.

  23. Just checked it out in P3D V2.5. It is still as good as the day I painted it, works perfectly in P3D. Here's a few pics of it, at Russ White's magnificent YBBN: You know, I just took that bus for a drive around Brissie airport and the roads are almost identical to as they are now and I think it's real tribute to the talent of these guys when a product is still current 6 years later. If anybody is interested, the original Bus and the Hamaguchi textures are at: http://simviation.com/fs2004misc15.htm Happy Bussing, Guys and Gals, Frank
