Hi Guys, Just wanted to post some shots of the upcoming RV4 expansion pack in action over NCA in Prepar3d v2.2 Keeping in mind that the PC used to take these shots is pretty low end nowadays we get an average of 20 fps with most of the eye candy on and sliders pretty high. Very comparable to the majority of the default aircraft shipped in Prepar3d v22 points

Hi zb, it's fine this way, it's not necessary you put all your order numbers Respect the prices, i can observe that usually people don't analyze accurately what vector does, because it doesn't modify the textures that's the first change people notice (like FTX global and OpenLC do). But the changes vector responsible are evidents. The coastilines for first. They are accurate now, respect to the reality. If we want to develop sceneries like you wish, always closer to the reality, we need also products like Vector, as a base to work on. The roads, tunnels, rivers, lakes, all is more accurate2 points

Hi, To avoid a very long signature with orders, I suggest to begin the orders list by Spoiler between [ ] and end with /Spoiler between [ ] Then, if an administrator on the Payware Support Forum wants to expand or reduce your orders list, he'll clic on the grey little show/Hide box. Have a nice Easter1 point

Why should I pay more for an expansion pack? This basically fixes a design element that was not very popular. How about releasing this model as version two. Then if someone truly wanted the glass panel, that could be an expansion. This newer version as version two might be a big hit.1 point

Is there an actual scenery library image showing orbx products in proper order on this site. I could post mine and ask for opinions but I think it would be easier if I could see one from someone who really knew what they were doing.1 point

The official word is that those spoiler alerts look ridiculous. If you're proud enough to list all of them, why do you need to hide them?1 point

OK... Here's a quick update with some "how to" instructions... --- BEWARE --- Only use this method if you are experiencing constant disconnects (or the constant disconnect/reconnect cycle) of your USB hardware). AND make a backup of your system registry before doing any of this! (Use the free tool like CCleaner, or your own registry backup software if you have it). Step 1: Try and fix the issue with the control panel options: - Go to Control Panel - "Power Options" - "Change Plan Settings" (on your currently selected plan) - "Change Advanced Power Settings"1 point

Hi Brad, sorry can't take any credit for this great tip (see original post #1) I just did a step by step tutorial for someone having problems with the way to implement it. Now if we could get everybody to join in it would be great and clean up surfing the threads by at least 50%. Any official word about making this standard for everyone?1 point

Great shots Gerold. My favorite holiday destination. It's simply Gods Country regardless of the weather. Thanks for posting.1 point

Hi, JJJackson, estimated mate, You're right about what I talk on Vector/Orbx. Happens, from what I know, I may be wrong, Orbx commissioned (the job) work on Vectors to the Pilot's staff. If I'm wrong, does not justify the Pilot´s staff come here to support. As I said, I could be wrong, but it was not what I saw with the launch of Vector v1.1. And yet, the annunciation of the Vectors, toward the end of 2013, Orbx said it was developing in partnership with Pilot's. From the point of view of the consumer, the Vector is the responsibility of Orbx! IMHO! Cheers,1 point

Great work Howard... love the old gent asleep on his bag. These are a few from a while back when the Somerset Levels flooded.. This is an RSPB reserve, with no affected homes in this area, and there was a great beauty to it, however it was a disaster for some poor people.1 point

The guys who are Vector's supporters are from Pilot's: there as here, in this forum, no support! And if there is any, almost never solve anything. Ah ... When they appear to say something, they are very, very arrogant, disrespectful, and always give an earful on who dared to have them harassed! Usually with words like these: ... already talked about this in the readme ... is noted ... will be remembered in the next version ... any "no brain" knows ... (expression Stefan said to a consumer who was collaborating with them ") etc., etc., etc. So, mate, for our problems be solved, or ...1 point

The thing about the new lighting system is that it uses the FSX autogen system to place lights (the same way as it does trees and houses). The autogen system deliberately draws fewer items the further away from the airplane you are, so that you don't overload the simulator, so as you fly, you will see the full amount of lights close to the aircraft and diminishing by numbers further away, always changing as the aircraft flies. One limitation of the FSX autogen is that it does have that "pop in" effect, most noticeable at night. The only way to improve this would be to increase the radius of1 point

If you should have the building shadows activated it can cause artefacts i.e. flashing "patches" on the flat ground. Some of those patches do not interact with aircraft shadows by day - or the lights that are cast by the aircraft by night. Uncheck it and things should revert back to normal. If you don't have the shadows activated you're on your own But I'm sure one of the devs will come up with a solution. Cheers Mallard1 point
